Israel-Sweden Bi-National R&D Project: Wearable Personal Safety and Location System

During 2007, Aerotel Medical Systems, together with Swedish partner Box Play Alleato AB, have started a joint project called "SIGNAL". The aim of the project is to develop and evaluate a wrist-wearable personal safety and location system.

This initiative is being partially funded by Vinnova (Swedish side) and MATIMOP (Israeli side), under SIBED (Sweden-Israel Bi-national Testebed Program), which is administered under the umbrella of Eureka. The project duration is 18 months.
