Siemens has announced that it developing a new radio module worn in the same way as a wrist watch that can monitor vital life signs.

MDKeeper, which is being developed as a wristwatch by Israel-based Tadiran Spactralink, is capable of measuring blood pressure and heart rates – data that it then transmits to a remote medical centre for assessment.
